The Lofts Southshore

The Lofts Southshore in Pattaya is the latest project from Raimon Land Public Company Limited, the property award winning developer behind many successful and popular projects The Lofts, The River, Northpoint, Northshore, The Legend, The Lakes, Kata Gardens and The Heights.

Raimon Land has acknowledged that although many of their customers would like to buy an apartment in for example Northpoint, the price is considered a bit too high by most people. That gave them the idea to launch a project for the middle market with condominium units priced at just around 65,000 baht per square meter and with a starting price of about 1.8 million baht.

The expected launch of The Lofts Southshore is in Q1 2008 and it is planned to be finished in 2010.

There will be about 850 units within the two towers situated on an almost 10,000 square meter land plot acquired for 235 million baht. The first tower will be at least 35 floors and the other tower will have 50 floors. The 850 units are sized between 30 and 300 square meters. Swimming pool, sun deck and sports facilities are to be located atop a massive podium shared by the towers overlooking the beautiful Pattaya Bay. The project's overall floor space is expected to fetch an average of Baht 70,000 at launch. About 50% of the land costs and 70% of construction costs would be funded by financial institutions, ensuring that buyers get a generous payment plan.

The Lofts Southshore is a great investment opportunity for the investor who wants to make money by getting rental income or perhaps resell it when it's finished. This project offers absolutely great value for money and will be a pleasure to live in for both families and singles.

The location is just brilliant, being behind the end of Walking Street and close to the Bali Hai marina, where a new boardwalk is currently being constructed with new restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques. It is also near to the well renowned Royal Cliff hotel and condominium (currently these fairly old units are fetching 80,000-100,000 baht per square meter), which features world class restaurants having won international awards for best wine collection etc. Another neighbour is the upscale new project The Waterfront (selling at 100,000 - 130,000 per square meter). There are also several upscale hotels in the neighbourhood. Pratumnak is probably the trendiest location in Pattaya as many of the best restaurants in Pattaya has recently moved to this area.
